## About the Role

* Associate's Degree or 5+ years of manufacturing experience
 * Experience working in an R&D, prototype, or early production environment
 * Hands-on experience assembling mechanical and electronic products
 * Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
 * Experience following detailed work instructions and documenting deviations
 * Strong attention to detail and workmanship
 * Experience using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, or similar equipment
 * Familiarity with 5S manufacturing practices
 * Experience following manufacturing safety procedures including LOTO and Arc Flash
 * Proficient with Microsoft Office

Nice to Have

 * IPC certification or IPC knowledge
 * Experience assembling stator windings
 * SAP experience

## Description

We're seeking an Electric Engine Manufacturing Technician to support the assembly of electric propulsion systems for next-generation aircraft. This is a hands-on manufacturing role working in an R&D and early production environment, building electric engines that include inverters, stators, gearboxes, and motors.

You'll partner closely with engineering teams to support prototype builds, equipment bring-up, process validation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

 * Assemble electric engines using manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment
 * Build mechanical and electronic assemblies following engineering work instructions
 * Support equipment bring-up and process validation activities
 * Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and production processes
 * Debug electric engine assemblies
 * Build basic lab fixtures and manufacturing tools
 * Perform routine equipment maintenance
 * Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment
 * Document builds, deviations, and manufacturing issues
 * Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve processes
