Experience (Required) * Minimum 5 years of experience in ETL engineering, data integration, or data engineering. * Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data ingestion workflows. * Experience performing data cleansing, validation, transformation, and quality assurance. * Experience working in secure federal or DoD environments, or similar high-security data settings. * Experience troubleshooting ETL failures, performance issues, and schema mismatches. Technical Knowledge (Required) * Proficiency with ETL platforms, scripting languages, and data pipeline frameworks (Python, SQL, ETL tools, etc.). * Strong SQL skills including complex queries, joins, aggregates, and transformations. * Knowledge of cloud-based data pipelines and storage solutions (AWS preferred). * Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and secure data handling practices. * Familiarity with RMF, IL5 data security requirements, and audit log standards. Technical Knowledge (Preferred) * Experience with data warehouse platforms, big data systems, or streaming ingestion. * Experience with DevSecOps pipelines, Git-based version control, and CI/CD integrations. * Familiarity with business intelligence tools and analytics environments. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing ETL pipelines, data ingestion processes, transformation routines, metadata handling, and data quality assurance in support of analytics, reporting, and mission-critical applications. The Data Integration / ETL Engineer ensures secure, efficient, and reliable data movement across cloud and on-premise systems while supporting the analytics team with well-structured, clean, and validated datasets. This role plays a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
