Technical Knowledge (Required) * Knowledge of AWS GovCloud networking including VPCs, NACLs, security groups, routing, and Route 53. * Experience with VPNs, Direct Connect, WAF, load balancers, and network security tooling. * Understanding of IAM policies tied to network enforcement and Zero Trust principles. * Familiarity with boundary security controls and RMF-compliant architectures. * Technical Knowledge (Preferred) * Experience with network automation tooling or IaC-based network configuration. * Familiarity with packet analysis tools and monitoring platforms. * Experience supporting microservices or container-based network architectures. Certifications Required: CCNA or CCNP CompTIA Security+ Preferred: AWS Networking Specialty ITIL v4 Foundation, * Excellent problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex network issues. * Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams. * High attention to detail and thorough documentation habits. * Ability to implement secure, reliable network configurations at enterprise scale. * Ability to manage change and prioritize tasks in a dynamic mission environment. ## Description DecisionPoint seeks Cloud Network Engineers to support the implementation, maintenance, and security of IL5 cloud networking within AWS GovCloud for a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. These roles focus on routing, DNS, VPN/Direct Connect configurations, WAF management, load balancers, IAM policies tied to network controls, and ongoing Zero Trust network enforcement. Cloud Network Engineers work closely with senior cloud network architects, platform engineers, cybersecurity teams, and application teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and high-performance network connectivity across enterprise systems.
