## About the Role

* 8+ years of production engineering experience
 * Deep expertise in Python, including Django and FastAPI
 * Strong experience managing full AWS infrastructure, including:EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Route 53, SQS/SNS, and Secrets Manager
 * Advanced PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, query optimization, indexing, and replication
 * Elasticsearch experience, including indexing, query optimization, and cluster management
 * Experience using Redis and Celery for asynchronous task infrastructure and caching
 * Strong experience with React or an equivalent modern JavaScript framework
 * Experience integrating third-party APIs across multiple vendors
 * Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, including Anthropic and OpenAI APIs
 * Experience building data pipelines and aggregation systems
 * Security-conscious engineering experience, including: Encryption at rest and in transit, Audit logging, Role-based access control
 * Ability to own systems end-to-end, from architecture and development through deployment and production support

Nice to Have

 * Data engineering or ETL experience
 * Machine learning or applied AI engineering experience
 * Experience building infrastructure for regulated industries

Tenure and Profile Requirements

 * Four or more years at each of your last two companies is preferred
 * Demonstrated history of long-term system ownership rather than frequent short-term roles
 * Strong professional references from managers who worked with you for at least three years
 * We are looking for engineers who build for the long term and remain committed to the systems they own
