Four additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree. * Willingness to work various shifts, accommodating the 24/7 operational needs of satellite operations. * A minimum of 6 months' direct experience in satellite operations and communications, emphasizing the importance of this expertise in the role. * Proficiency in Linux/UNIX system administration, with substantial knowledge of Microsoft Server network protocols. * DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Sec+ CE, CySA+, CCNA-Security, CND, CASP CE, CCNP, CISA, or CISSP) * Proven experience with network infrastructure, including familiarity with topologies, data flows, firewalls, routers, and switches. ## Description TMC Technologies is hiring a Satellite Systems Administrator to join our team supporting the US Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command, Innovation and Prototyping Directorate at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. The Satellite Systems Administrator is central to the configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution of cross-domain systems that are essential to our space and defense operations. This role requires not just technical acumen but also experience in satellite operations to support our multifaceted missions. The right candidate will provide critical support and expertise in the area of satellite operations, including managing the telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) systems, ensuring the reliability and security of space-to-ground communication.
