 + Experience modernizing legacy systems into **microservices or cloud-native architectures**

 + Familiarity with **event-driven architecture, DDD, and API governance**

 + Experience with **Azure and/or GCP cloud platforms**

 + Exposure to **DevSecOps practices, observability, and monitoring tools**

 + Experience with **AI/ML or Generative AI integrations**

 + Experience in **healthcare/pharmacy or regulated environments (HIPAA/PHI)**

Education

 + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (required)

 + Master's degree (preferred)

## Description

At CVS Health, we are modernizing the Clinical Authorization System (CAS) into a scalable, cloud-ready, API-first platform. We are seeking a **Sr. Software Development Engineer** with strong **.NET backend and Angular frontend expertise** to build and enhance modern, full-stack solutions.

This is a **hands-on engineering role** focused on delivering high-quality software, driving modernization, and supporting scalable UI/UX experiences and backend services.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, UX, QA, DevSecOps, and SRE teams to deliver secure, performant, and reliable solutions aligned to business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development (.NET + Angular)

 + Design and develop **full-stack applications** using:

 + **.NET / .NET Core (backend services, APIs)**

 + **Angular (UI/UX layer)**

 + Build and maintain **RESTful APIs and microservices** supporting CAS workflows
