## About the Role

We are looking for a driven Cash Applications Specialist to join our accounting team. Under the supervision of the Head of Finance you will process a high volume of transactions and payments, scan and invoice. As part of our team, you will reconcile account receivables, perform collection management processes, and post payment reconciliation. Our ideal candidate is a motivated problem-solver who can work effectively with our team, possesses accurate data entry skills and an eye for detail., * Associates Degree in Accounting preferred.

Work Experience

 * Prior experience in accounts receivable and cash applications preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 * Ability to work independently and contribute to the broader team.
 * Ability to multi-task and manage time and deadlines.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.

## Description

* Process and reconcile account receivables and remittances.
 * Create regular reports to accurately track financial information.
 * Address payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies.
 * Engage in collection management processes as necessary.
 * Other duties as assigned., The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job as described in the Key Job Accountabilities:
 * Continuously use hands, wrists, and fingers for high-volume, rapid data entry, calculator operation, and typing.
 * Remain in a stationary position at a desk for 70% to 90% of the workday.
 * Maintain sharp close visual acuity to read small print, analyze spreadsheets, verify financial data, and detect errors across multiple monitors.
 * Occasionally lift and shift boxes weighing up to 25 pounds.
 * Stoop, kneel, or reach to access low or high shelving in filing cabinets.
 * Speak and hear clearly to resolve billing discrepancies with vendors, clients, and internal departments over the phone or via video calls.

Additional Requirements

 * Adherence to the basic principles as expressed in FTC's mission, staff expectations, and standards of conduct.
 * Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance.
 * Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background investigation, physical and drug-test as well as ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
