## About the Role

In this role, you'll collaborate with a high-performing team to develop innovative Alternative Technical Concepts (ATCs), geometric roadway designs, and construction plans that drive successful Design-Build pursuits. Your technical expertise, strategic thinking, and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams will play a critical role in winning and delivering complex transportation projects throughout the state., * B.S. from an ABET-accredited university in Civil Engineering

 * Minimum of 10 years of transportation roadway design experience
 * Registration as a Professional Engineer in Florida
 * Proficiency in MicroStation and/or OpenRoads
 * Strong knowledge of FDOT plans preparation criteria, FDM and Standard Plans
 * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
 * Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
 * Detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment
 * Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience working on limited-access projects
 * Experience working on alternative delivery / design-build projects
 * Experience with 3D corridor modeling

## Description

DRMP is seeking an experienced Senior Alternative Delivery Project Engineer to help lead the pursuit and delivery of some of Florida's most impactful transportation infrastructure projects., * Perform engineering designs including geometric alignments, profiles, cross-sections, construction, and Temporary Traffic Control details.

 * Creation of engineering documents including Typical Section Packages, Pavement Design Reports, and Variation/Exception Reports.
 * Perform advanced MicroStation, GEOPAK, OpenRoads processes using 3D modeling.
 * Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams.
