This position is ideal for a hands-on networking professional with experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Cisco network infrastructure while providing outstanding customer support. The successful candidate will support enterprise network operations by installing and maintaining network equipment, resolving connectivity issues, documenting infrastructure changes, and ensuring reliable service for mission-critical operations. Responsibilities * Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco network switches and wireless access points (WAPs). * Install switches into network racks and perform initial hardware configurations. * Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving switching, cabling, and end-user devices. * Support a large enterprise network environment across multiple facilities. * Work directly with customers to diagnose and resolve network-related issues while providing excellent customer service. * Utilize an enterprise ticketing system (such as ServiceNow or Remedy) to document, track, and resolve incidents and service requests. * Install, terminate, and test Category 6A network cabling. * Perform cable punch-downs, labeling, testing, and verification of structured cabling installations. * Maintain accurate documentation of network infrastructure, including cable records, switch ports, and connectivity using infrastructure management tools. * Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineering staff when appropriate. * Meet established service-level agreements (SLAs) and resolution metrics while maintaining high-quality customer support. * Support network changes, maintenance activities, and outage response in a mission-critical environment. * Follow established security, operational, and configuration management procedures., * How many years of hands-on experience do you have supporting Cisco network infrastructure? * Have you physically installed network switches into equipment racks? * Have you configured Cisco switches? * Have you terminated or punched down Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A Cable? * Have you worked in an enterprise environment supporting more than 500 users? * What ticketing systems have you used?
