If so, we need you!, Do you have extensive experience in Database Management and are eager to grow your career in the Financial Services industry?, * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. * Relevant training such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, or similar, are highly desirable. * 5+ years of extensive experience in database management, with a strong focus on SQL Server. * 2+ years of experience with cloud data warehouse platforms, with a strong focus on Snowflake. * Strong expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting. * Proficiency in database backup and recovery plans and practices. * Experience with data warehousing concepts, architecture, and ETL processes. * Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS. * Familiarity with cloud data warehouse solutions (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) is preferred * Solid understanding of database security principles, including access controls and encryption. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. * Self-motivated, with a passion for continuous learning and personal development. * Experience in scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell or Python is a plus. ## Description Join a mission-driven team at Independent Bank, "Inspiring financial independence today, with tomorrow in mind!" In your role of Senior Database Engineer, you'll manage and enhance our SQL Server and enterprise databases to ensure top performance, availability, and security.
