May involve sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. * Sitting or standing, bending, stooping, and the ability to carry items weighing up to 25 pounds. * Constant adequate range of motion and mobility required. * Regular near acuity with clarity of vision at 20 inches or less required. * Typical ability to collect and analyze numerical and written data and verbal information to reach logical conclusions * and ability to determine the time, place and sequence of operations or actions required. * Regular talking and the ability to express and exchange ideas by means of language expected. * Regular hearing and the ability to perceive the nature of sounds. * Constant ability to read, record, or type data quickly and accurately required. ## Description The IT Technical Support Specialist/Security Administrator will handle internal customer support for the Audubon Institute's Information Technology Department. Responsibilities include assisting with the IT network, personal computers, servers, and related tasks. This role also oversees and ensures the security of the organization's computing systems and programs. Day to Day Responsibilities (Limit to most important/top 10 duties if possible) * Providing Quality Support: Deliver high-quality support to staff to meet their IT needs effectively. * Support Requests: Respond promptly to support requests and ensure timely issue resolution. * Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve PC issues, connectivity problems, and system errors for the Audubon Nature Institute. * Hardware Administration: Install, repair, and optimize printers, hardware components, and related devices. * Security Administration: Administer FortiEDR, FortiMail, virus scanning programs, phishing/email security, and ensure PCI compliance. * System Performance: Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as needed. * Procurement Support: Create quotes and orders for IT equipment and software. * IT Project Execution: Develop and execute plans for assigned IT projects. * Training and Compliance: Participate in training sessions and adhere to safety, privacy, and confidentiality regulations (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA). * Collaboration: Maintain effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
