The Systems Engineer will be a key member of a team that will bring substantial experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise level solutions from Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, and others., * Collaborate with customers as well as design/architects and project managers to define the technical requirements needed to design, implement, and manage standards-based IT networks. * Develop and execute IT implementation plans in coordination with the project team. * Develop, design and deliver Microsoft Active Directory solutions, Microsoft Exchange Server upgrades and/or migrations, VMWare environments, Microsoft Hyper-V environments. * Design, implementation and support services related to Microsoft and VMware technologies, including Microsoft Exchange and SQL. * Respond to post project technical support calls and perform direct follow up with clients. * Understand each client¿s unique business requirements to develop technology solutions to address those business requirements. * Assist in conducting on-site surveys and developing detailed network diagrams, bills-of-materials, and scopes-of-work for proposals and technical presentations highlighting our value proposition and superiority of our solution. * Be customer facing - the successful candidate for this position will work in front of the customer in a visible manner and bear the responsibility for portraying in a professional and expert manner., Job Purpose The Systems Administrator provides advanced technical support and infrastructure management to ensure timely, effective resolution of service requests.
