We are seeking a Senior Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer / Developer to support a large-scale enterprise data transformation initiative. This role will focus on designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-native data solutions within the Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Java, Dataflow, Dataform, BigQuery, and advanced SQL, with the ability to build scalable data pipelines, support data modernization efforts, and deliver high-performance analytics solutions., * 5+ years of software development and/or data engineering experience. * Strong proficiency in Java development. * Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). * Experience developing and supporting Dataflow pipelines. * Experience with Dataform for data transformation and workflow management. * Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning. * Strong experience with BigQuery (BQ), including: * Data modeling. * Query optimization. * Partitioning and clustering. * Performance tuning. Experience with ETL/ELT development and large-scale data processing. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design, and development best practices. Experience working within Agile development environments. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as: * Pub/Sub. * Cloud Storage. * Cloud Composer. * Dataproc. * Cloud Functions. Experience supporting enterprise data transformation or modernization programs. Exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics environments. Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
