## About the Role

* Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
 * US Citizenship is contractually required.
 * Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
 * Minimum of FIVE (5) + years of overall work experience.
 * Experience in database administration and infrastructure engineering experience.
 * Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar database platforms.
 * Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments.
 * Knowledge of backup, recovery, and high-availability architectures.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

 * AWS Database Specialty or equivalent certification.
 * Experience supporting mainframe-connected applications.
 * ArcGIS Enterprise administration experience.
 * Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
 * Experience supporting federal government systems.

## Description

* Administer and optimize enterprise databases supporting cloud and on-premises workloads.
 * Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery capabilities.
 * Support hybrid infrastructure architectures integrating cloud and legacy systems.
 * Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and resiliency testing.
 * Develop automation for database operations and infrastructure management.
