## About the Role

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 1-2 years of desktop support experience

 * Hands-on experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
 * Familiarity with Intune or similar endpoint management tools
 * Experience supporting remote users and VPN troubleshooting
 * Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
 * Strong communicator with good organizational skills and a team-first attitude
 * Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
 * Ability to work rotational shift, M-F, 7am and 9am start time
 * Ability to work the on-call rotational shift once a month

## Description

Old Mission Capital is looking for a hands-on Desktop Support Engineer to join our systems team. You'll support the endpoint infrastructure behind our global trading operations which includes keeping desktops running, users productive, and systems secure. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who takes ownership and wants to grow in a fast-paced financial services environment., * Maintain and support the Windows and Linux desktop environment across global offices

 * Deploy and manage endpoints using Microsoft Intune
 * Manage user accounts, groups, and access in Active Directory and Entra ID
 * Support Microsoft 365 applications (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Office suite)
 * Keep desktops current with patches and security updates
 * Execute physical desk moves, hardware setup, and equipment reconfiguration as staff and seating arrangements change
 * Monitor service desk ticket queues to ensure timely response
 * Provide basic network, phone, and video conferencing support
 * Proactively identify recurring support issues and recommend process, documentation, or system improvements
 * Occasional weekend support will be required for upgrades, data center work, or emergencies
