## About the Role

* B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field and 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience; or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
 * Applicants must have a current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start.
 * Applicants must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance, * Command and control system application development
 * Previous experience with message translation software
 * Automated testing and pipeline development experience
 * Experience with software integration testing, including developing automated test scripts
 * Prior experience designing and developing microservices and deploying them with containers
 * Experience setting up a container environment
 * Understanding of systems engineering, systems design, and development
 * Ability to clearly document activities, write project plans, and prepare summary reports
 * Strong knowledge of software practices and coding standards
 * Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms
 * Familiarity with Java Spring
 * Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
 * Knowledge of backend development and message passing
 * Experience developing enterprise applications
