Core Competencies: * Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical and plumbing systems. * Attention to Detail: Ability to identify small issues before they become field problems. * Constructability: Ability to evaluate whether a coordinated model can realistically be installed. * Problem Solving: Ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions. * Communication: Ability to provide clear, professional, and actionable feedback. * Collaboration: Ability to work productively with Coordinators, PMs, VDC teams, and trade partners. * Accountability: Willingness to make fact-based QAQC decisions and protect project quality. * Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify recurring issues and help improve VDC standards and processes. ## Description The VDC QAQC Specialist is responsible for performing quality assurance and quality control reviews of coordinated mechanical and plumbing BIM models, coordinated drawings, and fabrication documentation. This position provides an independent set of experienced eyes to verify that VDC deliverables are accurate, complete, constructible, coordinated, and aligned with contract documents, project specifications, approved submittals, manufacturer requirements, applicable codes, and company standards. The VDC QAQC Specialist works closely with VDC Coordinators, Project Managers, VDC Management, and trade partners to identify deficiencies, communicate findings, and support continuous improvement throughout the VDC and construction process.
