This role focuses on implementing core governance practices-data stewardship, quality, security, metadata, lifecycle, and compliance. The ideal candidate excels at understanding data, gathering requirements, profiling and analyzing datasets, and collaborating across business and technical teams to drive clarity and consistency in data usage. 'Partner-owned' means our most important resources-People-drive the innovation, growth, and success that make H-E-B The Greatest Omnichannel Retailing Company., * Serve as a subject matter expert on data and metrics available within the H-E-B Data Warehouse & Datalake for respective domains to enable business, analytical, and data science use cases. * Promote awareness and educate others on best practices, data policies, standards on metadata, lineage, cataloging, quality, lifecycle, and data modeling. * Create, maintain, and manage metadata.
