This position will report to the Chief Technology Officer, initially. This role is based out of our headquarters in Simi Valley, CA and is an onsite position. The Technology and Operations System Associate will be expected to work in the office at least 5 days per week, including weekends and some holidays. As part of the IT Team, the Technology and Operations Systems Associate will support an approximate 200-person user base. This is not an entry-level position, hands-on experience is required. The scope of this role goes significantly beyond traditional IT support., This role ensures continuous network stability, aids in a comprehensive and proactive security posture, timely patch management, and immediate break-fix response, all critical for operational continuity. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: * Provide strategic technology consulting to end users and leadership while maintaining day-to-day systems integrity. * Address maintenance windows and minimizes business disruption during museum operation on the weekends. * Support all technology related aspects of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Museum in Simi Valley, CA, and coordinate with NARA partners for updates, improvements and new exhibits. * Provide support to reduce downtime risk, enhance cybersecurity defenses and awareness, and deliver more rapid responsive end-user support essential for organizational productivity. This includes our Simi Valley, CA. and Washington, DC campuses. * Operational responsibilities include; process optimization, vendor management, systems documentation, cross-departmental coordination, and technology project management. * Handle tactical execution and day-to-day systems oversight, freeing executive bandwidth for strategic initiatives, vendor negotiations, and enterprise-level decision-making. * Other duties as assigned., The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
