Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Enterprise Architect (Group IT) - **Company:** Macildowie Recruitment and Retention - **Location:** Castle Donington, UK - **Salary:** £75,000.0 - £95,000.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Cloud Computing, Enterprise Architecture Framework, Cloud Services, Systems Integration, Enterprise Software Applications, Togaf, Enterprise Integration - **Published:** July 1, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.reed.co.uk/jobs/enterprise-architect-group-it/57073407 ## About the Role * To be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced Enterprise Architect with a proven track record of operating across complex, multi-entity environments., * Significant experience within an Enterprise Architect or similar strategic architecture role. * Experience working across group structures with multiple business units, brands or legal entities. * Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, governance and technology strategy. * Proven experience developing architecture standards, governance frameworks and enterprise technology roadmaps. * Experience working within complex ERP environments, ideally supporting multiple ERP platforms and future consolidation programmes. * Experience overseeing architectural input across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery to agreed deadlines. * Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business leaders, technical teams and third-party partners. * Strong understanding of technology risk, governance and compliance, with experience creating and maintaining architecture risk and compliance plans. * A proactive approach to identifying risks, managing dependencies and mitigating issues before they impact delivery. * Broad technical knowledge spanning cloud technologies, infrastructure, integration, applications and security. * Previous experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations or carve-out programmes would be highly advantageous. * TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification would be desirable. ## Description * Our client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to play a key role in shaping and evolving the technology strategy across a diverse group of businesses. * Reporting directly to the Head of IT, this is a senior individual contributor role offering the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide technology decisions across multiple brands and legal entities. * The successful candidate will define and govern the Group's architecture strategy, establish standards and roadmaps, and ensure technology investments support both current and future business objectives. * This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working within a developing architecture function. * You'll be comfortable operating in a relatively greenfield environment, bringing structure, governance and strategic direction while remaining adaptable and pragmatic as the technology landscape continues to evolve.
