## About the Role

* Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Studium im Bereich Wirtschaftsinformatik, Informatik, EDV (Uni, FH) bzw. vergleichbare einschlägige Berufserfahrung
 * Fundierte Kenntnisse in relationalen (SQL) und NoSQL-Datenbanken, insbesondere mit Oracle und PostgreSQL
 * Praxis in der Administration von Datenbanksystemen; Erfahrung mit MS SQL Server, MySQL, Cassandra sowie mit Datenbankschnittstellen und ETL-Tools von Vorteil
 * Gute Kenntnisse in Linux- und Windows-Umgebungen, idealerweise Erfahrung im IT-Security-Umfeld
 * Ausgeprägtes analytisch-logisches Denkvermögen sowie strukturierte Arbeitsweise
 * Teamfähigkeit, Eigeninitiative und Flexibilität
 * Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

## Description

* Betrieb, Administration und Weiterentwicklung der Datenbanklandschaft (Oracle, PostgreSQL sowie MS SQL Server, MySQL und Cassandra) inkl. Installation, Upgrades, Migrationen und Fehlerbehebung
 * Konzeption, Modellierung und kontinuierliche Optimierung von Datenbankstrukturen und Datenmanagementprozessen
 * Umsetzung und Pflege von Datenbankschnittstellen sowie strukturellen Änderungen inkl. Dokumentation
 * Sicherstellung von Datenqualität, -konsistenz und -verfügbarkeit inkl. Monitoring und Performanceoptimierung
 * Konzeption und Umsetzung von Backup- und Recovery-Strategien
 * Umsetzung von Maßnahmen im Bereich Datenbanksicherheit (Security Management)
