The ISSO will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified and unclassified information systems in accordance with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF requirements, and organizational security standards., The ISSO will support the cybersecurity posture of assigned information systems and act as a primary security liaison for system owners, engineers, and authorizing officials. Responsibilities include: * Implementing and maintaining security controls in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) * Supporting system authorization (ATO/Interim ATO) packages and documentation updates * Conducting and coordinating continuous monitoring activities, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments * Tracking and remediating security findings from audits, assessments, and vulnerability reports * Ensuring systems comply with DoD cybersecurity policies, STIGs, and applicable federal regulations * Collaborating with ISSMs, ISSOs, engineers, and system administrators to maintain secure system configurations * Managing Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) documentation and risk tracking * Supporting incident response activities and reporting cybersecurity events in accordance with DoD timelines * Maintaining security documentation, including SSPs, contingency plans, and authorization artifacts, At Vision IT, we lead with People First, ensuring our employees and customers thrive.
