This role partners closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and Power BI developers to deliver high-quality, trusted datasets and optimized reporting solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering expertise with deep knowledge of Power BI architecture, ensuring robust, performant, and secure data solutions., Data EngineeringPipeline Development * Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform data from various sources (SQL Server, cloud platforms, APIs, flat files, etc.). * Develop and manage data integration workflows using tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or similar. * Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across all pipelines. * Enforce data governance standards, including data lineage, cataloging, and documentation. Data ModelingPower BI Enablement * Design and implement optimized data models (star schema, snowflake) tailored for Power BI reporting. * Create reusable semantic models and datasets for enterprise reporting. * Optimize Power BI datasets for performance, scalability, and usability. * Work closely with Power BI developers to align models with reporting requirements. CloudPlatform Management * Develop and maintain data solutions in cloud environments (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Data Lake). * Implement best practices for data storage, processing, and orchestration. * Support deployment and lifecycle management (CI/CD) for data pipelines and Power BI artifacts.
