## About the Role

Join our Adults and Children's Shared Services Performance Improvement Team as a highly skilled, motivated, and forward-thinking Senior Data Analyst, and play a pivotal role in delivering insight and intelligence across the Adults' Health and Care Directorate. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to apply your analytical expertise in a position where data directly informs decisions that improve outcomes for vulnerable residents., * Significant experience in an IT support environment, with strong expertise in relational databases and complex SQL queries (e.g. SQL Server).

 * Previous experience of working within local government or Health with an understanding of the nature of public services delivery particular in a social care or health setting.
 * Proven expertise in Power BI, including Power Query and Power Automate.
 * Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyse large, complex datasets.
 * Solid understanding of data modelling, database design, and data structures.
 * Ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical audiences.
 * Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to solve problems, innovate, and work independently under pressure.

## Description

* Lead the design and delivery of high-quality management information and performance reporting across Adults' Health and Care.
 * Extract, manipulate, and analyse complex datasets using SQL Server.
 * Design and build engaging and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports.
 * Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for a range of stakeholders.
 * Capture business requirements and develop specifications for reporting solutions.
 * Combine and analyse data from multiple sources to create unified datasets.
