## About the Role

* MSc in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or related; PhD preferred.
*

 + 3+ years of photonics design experience, preferably in industry.
 * Experince in Lumerical and PIC layout tools (eg. IPKISS, GdsFactory).
 * Strong Python skills and experience with Git.
 * Proficiency in English., * Experience with Lumerical API, PDK development, Silicon Nitride platforms, and quantum integrated photonics., * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 * Excellent communicator and team player.
 * Detail-oriented with a commitment to high quality.
 * Self-motivated, capable of managing multiple projects independently.

## Description

* Design and simulate photonic components using tools like Lumerical.
 * Develop PIC layouts in IPKISS, GdsFactory, or similar.
 * Support internal PDK development and maintenance.
 * Automate and script simulations with Python or similar languages.
 * Collaborate with team members using Git for code management.
 * Integrate photonic designs into system architectures.
