Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Head of Data Center Facilities Operations - **Company:** Nebius - **Location:** Amsterdam, Netherlands (Remote available) - **Experience:** Expert - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, Data Centers, Data Center Infrastructure Management (CIM), Reliability Engineering - **Published:** July 15, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.adzuna.nl/details/5714079119 ## About the Role * 8+ years of experience in data center operations, critical facilities, or mission-critical environments (power generation, industrial, military backgrounds also considered) * 5+ years managing technical teams in a 24/7 operational environment * Hands-on knowledge of MEP systems: power (UPS, generators, switchgear), cooling (chillers, HVAC, CRAC units), and electrical distribution * Experience writing and implementing SOPs, MOPs, and maintenance programs * Comfortable building processes from scratch in a fast-moving environment * Strong communicator - able to work across engineering, construction, and executive stakeholders * Familiarity with DCIM/CMMS tools and change management processes Nice to Have * PMP, Six Sigma, or PE certification * Multi-site or hyperscale data center experience * Experience with commissioning new data center builds, Applicants must be authorized to work in the country in which they apply and will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility as a condition of hire. ## Description We're looking for a Data Center Facilities Operations leader to build and lead the facilities operations function across our data centers. This is a rare greenfield opportunity - you'll hire and develop the team, establish the processes, and set the standard for how we operate and maintain our critical infrastructure from the ground up. You'll sit within our Data Center organization alongside Construction and Design Engineering, and report directly to senior leadership. This is a hands-on leadership role with real ownership and long-term impact.
