## About the Role

* Excellent command of manual functional testing.
 * Good knowledge of exploratory testing and regression techniques.
 * Good understanding of the test lifecycle.
 * Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum and/or Kanban).
 * Ability to understand business requirements, functional analyses, and to design an appropriate testing strategy.

Technical environments

 * Good understanding of test environments and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
 * Knowledge of GitLab.
 * Knowledge of Docker environments.
 * Proficiency in simple SQL queries to control or prepare test data.

Tools

Experience with the following tools is a significant asset:

 * XQual (test management)
 * Mantis (anomaly management)
 * Agilitest (test automation)

Desired Profile

 * Minimum seven years of experience in functional testing.
 * Experience on complex IT projects.
 * ISTQB certifications preferred.
 * Good analytical and synthesis skills.
 * Sense of organization and rigor.
 * Excellent writing skills.
 * Critical thinking and a focus on quality.
 * Autonomy and proactivity.
 * Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
 * Curiosity and a desire to understand business processes.

## Description

Within the Testing Competence Centre and under the responsibility of its manager, the consultant will participate in all functional qualification activities of the IMAJINES project.

He will ensure compliance with the quality standards defined by the Testing Competence Centre and will actively contribute to securing project deliveries.

His main responsibilities will be as follows:

 * Analyze the functional and non-functional requirements in order to identify relevant test scenarios.
 * Participate in the critical review of specifications and identify any ambiguities or inconsistencies.
 * Design, write and maintain test cases.
 * Prepare the test campaigns and the data necessary for their execution.
 * Perform functional, regression and exploratory tests.
 * Document the detected anomalies by assessing their criticality and priority.
 * Ensure the follow-up of anomalies until their resolution in collaboration with the functional, business and development teams.
 * Participate in functional validations with business representatives.
 * Produce execution reports, summaries and test reports.
 * Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Centre of Excellence's testing processes, methods and tools.
 * Share QA best practices and support other stakeholders in testing activities (e.g., UAT) when necessary.
