## About the Role

Are you a VMware expert looking to make a real impact in a highly secure and mission-critical environment?, * Strong experience administering VMware vSphere, including ESXi, vCenter, clusters and resource pools.

 * Expertise in vSAN design, deployment and support.
 * Proven knowledge of HA/DRS, failover planning and resilient infrastructure design.
 * Solid understanding of VMware networking, including vSwitches, distributed Switches, VLANs and network segmentation.
 * Experience troubleshooting and optimising VM and host performance.
 * Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery tools such as Veeam, SRM, Zerto or Avamar.
 * Experience implementing security hardening, role-based access controls and compliance standards.
 * Hands-on experience with racking and stacking infrastructure hardware within data centre environments.

Desirable:

 * VMware Horizon/VDI experience.
 * PowerCLI Scripting, automation and infrastructure provisioning.

## Description

In this role, you'll lead the design, deployment and optimisation of VMware environments, working across vSphere, vSAN, HA/DRS, networking and disaster recovery solutions. You'll be responsible for ensuring platform stability, performance, security and scalability, while supporting infrastructure projects from data centre deployments through to operational support.
