Do you have experience in Operating systems?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Demonstrated skill in computer hardware and software

 * Demonstrated skill in Thin Client installations
 * Demonstrated skill in operating systems
 * Good communication skills
 * Associate's Degree or equivalent experience (5+ years in the field)

REPORTS TO: System Technology Coordinator

JOB GOAL: To provide assistance in the installation, repair, and maintenance of the computers, networks, Thin Clients, and other technology throughout the Colbert County School System

## Description

* Perform preventive maintenance on computers, network equipment, software, and peripherals
 * Repair and install computers, network equipment, cabling, software, and peripherals
 * Maintain current knowledge of all instructional technology used in the school system
 * Aid teachers and administrators in the proper operation of computer-based equipment
 * Provide hardware and software training for school staff
 * Maintain work orders and job-related documentation
 * Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, administrators, and others
 * Ensure adherence to good safety standards
 * Participate successfully in the training programs offered to increase skill and proficiency related to the assignment
 * Respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
 * Performs such other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned by the higher authority

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Terms of employment shall be consistent with the law relating to employment by a school system in the State of Alabama. Twelve-month year, with a salary scale established by the Board for this position.

EVALUATION: The performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board's Policy on Evaluation of Personnel.
