The IBMi/RPG Developer is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing Allied's IBMi and RPG applications. S/He is a person who can communicate on both a technical and business level, partnering with the Product team and Infrastructure team., * Provide day-to-day administration of databases, which includes monitoring and tuning, optimization, resolving errors and failures, auditing activities, and resource utilization * Analyze business requirements and design back-end code functions to accomplish objectives * IBMi/ RPG application development, support, and enhancements * Facilitate/ address all user acceptance testing issues for projects * Application development and enhancements using RPG/ RPG ILE (fixed and free format) * Change/ enhancements for existing applications * Web application support and development for IBMi on Java/.NET/Node JS * Performance enhancement of IBMi/RPG applications * File transfer (FTP, Excel to IBMi, IBMi to Excel) * CVS source control, DBU, STRDBG and SQL * IBMi Modernization * API Work Environment: Remote Work.
