Quva is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas Any of the Following Will Give You an Edge: * Certifications: MCSE, MCSA, CCNP, CISSP, GSEC ## Description * Manage the IT team and ensure all resources are working optimally * Provide coaching and performance evaluation of local IT resources * Plan, acquire and coordinate installation of in-house hardware and software across the organization * Recommend desktop, laptop, and ancillary equipment * Maintain and steward a budget for desktop, laptop, and ancillary equipment assigned by Director, IT Infrastructure * Analyze processes employed by Quva Pharma to utilize, design, implement, troubleshoot, improve, and maintain technology strategies, desktops, laptops, and ancillary equipment to meet business needs and improve client interaction * Plan, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate Information Technology training programs; Assess and analyze training needs * Recommend policies and procedures that pertain to desktop, laptop, and ancillary equipment utilization and IT Security * Research, evaluate, test, and recommend software applications * Advise staff on technology and IT security issues and planning * Evaluate, plan, test, and implement desktop and laptop system security and auditing * Educate and promote knowledge sharing / cross training within the infrastructure team * Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures and associated plans for network resource administration and appropriate use * Conduct research and make recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts * Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, UPSs, and so on * Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems * Test server performance and provide network performance statistics and reports;
