## About the Role

* 4+ years of backend software engineering experience.
 * Experience designing and building REST APIs and backend services.
 * Strong understanding of microservices and distributed system architecture.
 * Experience integrating with third-party APIs or enterprise platforms.
 * Experience with Node.js and TypeScript (NestJS preferred) or another modern backend language such as Java or C#.
 * Experience developing applications in Azure, AWS, or GCP (Azure preferred).
 * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions and collaborate across engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Azure experience, including Cosmos DB and Azure Service Bus.
 * Kubernetes and containerized application development.
 * Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
 * CI/CD and DevOps experience.
 * Experience implementing OAuth, JWT, RBAC, or other authentication and authorization frameworks.
 * Experience supporting production systems and troubleshooting distributed applications.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs and backend microservices.
 * Build and support integrations with third-party partners, internal applications, and cloud services.
 * Participate in architecture discussions, API design, and technical decision-making.
 * Design database schemas and backend services supporting high-volume applications.
 * Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, QA, and Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
 * Troubleshoot production integrations and improve platform reliability and performance.
 * Help implement authentication, authorization, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) capabilities.
 * Contribute to cloud-native applications running in Azure using modern DevOps practices.
