## Description

Als Backend Developer Utrecht in het platform team werk je aan de kern van het systeem: generieke backend- en platform componenten die andere teams in staat stellen sneller en betrouwbaarder te bouwen. Je focust je niet op losse features, maar op het oplossen van structurele problemen die op platformniveau terugkomen.

Je ontwikkelt herbruikbare services en libraries in Kotlin, werkt aan event-driven architectuur met Kafka en helpt standaarden neerzetten rondom integraties, configuratie en deployment. Cloud en infrastructuur raken je werk, bijvoorbeeld via containers, CI/CD en Infrastructure as Code in Terraform.

Doordat het platform internationaal opschaalt, werk je continu aan vraagstukken rondom performance, schaalbaarheid en robuustheid. Jouw werk zorgt ervoor dat productteams sneller kunnen itereren én dat het platform future-proof blijft terwijl het wereldwijd groeit.
