## About the Role

* Experience with automotive serial communications; including vehicle messaging and diagnostic service implementations
 * Knowledge of Vector CAN Tech products (CANoe or CANalyzer)
 * Experience with a requirements management tool - DOORS (by Telelogic)
 * Ability to read and interpret product specifications and software requirement specifications
 * Knowledge of fundamental programming concepts to aid understanding of product specification and to drive initiatives to automate tests
 * Excellent communication and documentation skills
 * Experience in developing test cases, defect reporting, automated test scripts., * Experience with automotive serial communications; including vehicle messaging and diagnostic service implementations

## Description

The Software Test Engineer will verify the design and validate the implementation of software supplied to ensure it meets and/or exceeds the specified expectations. Additionally, the Software Test Engineer will develop comprehensive functional test procedures to confirm that the product behaves as expected with reference to specific documented software requirements.
