## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
 * 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar technical roles.
 * Strong knowledge of Big Data processing, especially Spark and Python, Java or Scala.
 * Strong SQL skills, including joins, group by, subqueries and temporary tables.
 * Experience with AWS (preferred) or other major cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
 * Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as AWS Step Functions, Azure Data Factory, Airflow or similar.
 * Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Git Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
 * Knowledge of version control platforms such as Git or Bitbucket., * Knowledge of visualization tools such as Power BI or Grafana.
 * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Understanding of Agile methodologies.
 * Cloud or Big Data certifications.
 * Previous experience in an international work environment., * Fluent English (reading, writing and conversation).

## Description

* Implement and manage cloud data storage systems in AWS.
 * Collaborate with Data Scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
 * Develop and use data quality frameworks to ensure data integrity and security.
 * Automate data ingestion, cleaning and transformation processes.
 * Monitor the performance of data systems and troubleshoot issues when needed.
 * Optimize performance and scalability of Big Data solutions.
 * Apply strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in daily work.
