The main part of our Frontend Tech Stack is listed below, we don't ask that you have experience in all of this, but if you do, that's great! * HTML/CSS/JS (and increasingly TypeScript, too) with React used pretty much everywhere * Associated libraries and frameworks like Next.JS, Gatsby, Redux, React Query and more * Design system management (Storybooks are fairly common, little bit of CSS-in-JS, too) * Testing tools like Jest and React Testing Library for the most part We also stray into infrastructure work from time to time, using tools like AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, AWS CloudFront, GCP or Firebase. Experience of all of these is not required, but some familiarity wouldn't hurt. And if you'd like to learn any of them, we'd be more than happy to teach you. ## Description Interviewing is a two way process and we want you to have the time and opportunity to get to know us, as much as we are getting to know you! Our interviews are conversational and we want to get the best from you, so come with questions and be curious. In general you can expect the below, following a chat with one of our Talent Team: * First interview: ~45 minutes * Take home technical test (no time limit) * Technical face to face: ~1.5 hours * Final Interview: ~45 minutes ## Related Videos - [But, you're not Facebook](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/378-but-you-re-not-facebook) - [How Gatsby Cloud's real-time streaming architecture drives <5 second builds](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/418-how-gatsby-cloud-s-real-time-streaming-architecture-drives-5-second-builds) - [The Resilience of the World Wide Web](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1281-the-resilience-of-the-world-wide-web) - [GraphQL + Apollo + Next.js: A Lovely Trio](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/311-graphql-apollo-next-js-a-lovely-trio) - [Next, Nest, Nuxt… Nust?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/421-next-nest-nuxt-nust) - [The Pragmatic Architect: Balancing Necessity vs. Sufficiency in React Systems](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2101-the-pragmatic-architect-balancing-necessity-vs-sufficiency-in-react-systems) ## Related Articles - [Frontend Developer Salary in The UK](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/233-frontend-developer-salary-in-the-uk) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [16 Best Free React UI Libraries in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/148-16-best-free-react-ui-libraries-in-2025) - [The Best 7 Frontend Frameworks for Developers in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/400-the-best-7-frontend-frameworks-for-developers-in-2025) - [Fullstack Developer Salary UK](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/251-fullstack-developer-salary-uk) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline)
