This is a unique opportunity for someone inspired by WWGS core values and is interested in Amazon's high-growth grocery business to bring their whole self to the role., * Lead data integration, reporting, and analytics projects leveraging enterprise data engineering experience. * Design and build next-generation data infrastructure to replace existing third-party solutions. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Engineers, Software Developers, Business Intelligence Engineers, Analysts, Product Managers, and Program Managers. * Transform complex datasets into automated, digestible analytic deliverables. * Demonstrate strong organizational skills, decisiveness, and ownership while working in a team environment. * Drive significant impact through modernized design, architecture, and development of data products. * Contribute technical expertise to help transition from legacy solutions to future state infrastructure. * Partner with data engineering team members to deliver on strategic vision and objectives. A day in the life You will work with your leadership to define and execute the data engineering strategy for WWGDT. This will involve leveraging your SQL and coding skills in languages like Python and Java to extract, transform, and load data. You will collaborate closely with both internal and external teams to scope, design, build, and support efficient and cost-effective data pipelines focused on performance, operational excellence, and delivering business value. This work will span multiple technology stacks, including a custom built proprietary AWS framework. You will participate in and lead standups, design sessions, and Jira management, creating necessary documentation and artifacts.
