## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business or similar field or HS/GED and 2 years of experience
 * Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications:

 * Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business or similar field
 * 2 years experience in Cyber Security or related field.
 * Proficiency with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems
 * Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams across various levels of the organization.

## Description

* Conduct basic SOC investigations. Perform initial analysis and triage based on severity, impact and appropriate response.
 * Log events, activities, and findings in incident tracking systems and escalate complex issues or confirmed incidents.
 * Assist in documenting security events to support incident responders and SOC teams, helping identify emerging threats and providing basic insights for resolution.
 * Participate in IR tabletop exercises designed to identify gaps, improve skills, enhance communication.
