## About the Role

We're looking for a curious and collaborative data professional who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.

You'll bring:

 * Strong experience with SQL Server, T-SQL and database design.
 * Experience developing ETL/ELT solutions using tools such as SSIS.
 * Expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
 * A solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
 * Experience working with large, complex datasets.
 * Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
 * Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
 * Experience building effective relationships with stakeholders and translating business needs into practical solutions.

It would be great if you also have:

 * Power BI dashboard and semantic model development experience.
 * Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure or other cloud-based data platforms.
 * Knowledge of Lakehouse architecture and real-time data solutions.
 * Python or other scripting experience for data processing and automation.
 * Understanding of data governance, GDPR and information security principles.
 * Experience working in agile, regulated or complex environments.

## Description

As a Data Engineer / BI Developer, you'll work with colleagues across the organisation to build trusted, scalable and innovative data solutions that support decision-making at every level.

You'll have the opportunity to:

 * Design and develop data pipelines that bring together information from multiple sources.
 * Create and optimise databases, data models and reporting solutions that provide meaningful business insight.
 * Build engaging Tableau and Power BI dashboards that help stakeholders understand performance and identify opportunities.
 * Partner with teams across the organisation to understand business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.
 * Help improve data quality, reporting standards and analytics best practice.
 * Contribute to the development of our cloud-based data platform and future analytics capabilities.
 * Support data governance, security and compliance requirements, ensuring data is trusted and well managed.
