You will be in a supporting role focused on enabling and improving self-service functionality for policyholders, helping drive adoption, retention, and overall customer experience. You will collaborate with the team on all stages of development, from design through production observability. You will report to the Senior Manager, Engineering., * You will design and develop solutions to the level of quality defined by the requirements in adherence with standards, methodology and internal controls. * You will understand and identify system dependencies. Understands functionality, integration points and impacts of proposed changes to supporting applications. * You will follow through with options and recommendations. * You will provide appropriate documentation for design decisions, estimating assumptions, code modules, and performance metrics as required by organization standards. * You will define, conduct, and/or participate in testing (i.e. unit, system integration). * You will collaborate with others regarding effectiveness of systems flow, data usage and manual or automated processes to verify requirements. * You will ensure software development meets standards for programming, design, performance, quality, and security. * You will participate in team activities and taking on additional work tasks as needed to help the team accomplish the desired outcome or goals. * You will create, maintain, and/or enhance system documentation as needed., * To ensure a strong start, all employees participate in our New Employee Orientation during their first week.
