* 7+ years of Java backend development experience
 * Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Batch and Spring Integration
 * Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs
 * Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle
 * Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
 * Familiarity with Git, JUnit, Unix/Linux and shell scripting
 * Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
 * A solid understanding of distributed systems, backend performance and application security

## Description

* Design and develop backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
 * Build and enhance scalable microservices and REST APIs
 * Drive architectural decisions focused on performance, security and scalability
 * Work across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and production support
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic technology initiatives
 * Champion engineering best practices, code quality and automated testing
 * Mentor developers and provide technical leadership where needed
