 * Systematic approach to troubleshooting complex issues in high-concurrency environments.
 * Extensive experience with automated testing patterns and a "shift-left" security mindset.
 * Fluency in English and Spanish.

Senior Backend Engineer (Payments): Designing and optimizing robust backend services for a global employee benefits platform with an accent on transactional precision, idempotency, and fault tolerance. Focus on evolving distributed architectures, ensuring high-stakes quality, and driving operational excellence in high-volume payment systems., * Design and optimize robust backend services for high-volume traffic and 100% data consistency.

 * Evolve existing systems into scalable, event-driven distributed architectures.
 * Ensure high-stakes quality through comprehensive testing (unit, integration, acceptance) and performance simulations.
 * Monitor service health in production, using observability tools to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or anomalies.
 * Share expertise through deep code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and documenting engineering standards.
