## About the Role

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

 - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

 - 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience

 - 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

Preferred Qualifications

 - 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience

 - 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

 - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

 - MBA, or CPA

## Description

Develop and maintain reports and financial models related to AWS Infrastructure, sharing findings and recommendations with leaders to influence decision making, while routinely delivering error-free reporting and resolving controllership risks.

 - Identify opportunities to automate processes that reduce defects and improves performance. Identify reporting and data defects, inclusive of root causes and resolution paths.

 - Develop strong working relationships with peers and managers across multiple teams, ensuring all stakeholders work cohesively to meet deadlines, resolve issues and escalate when conflicts arise.

 - Support ad-hoc requests from finance and business executives; communicate data clearly and concisely both verbally and writing, inclusive of communicating financial issues to non-finance partners.
