## About the Role

* Strong experience with Modern C++, object-oriented programming and modern software architecture.
 * Several years developing hardware control or hardware-adjacent software.
 * Experience with PCIe and high-speed Ethernet, and understanding of driver/real-time processing architectures.
 * Development experience in Linux and/or Windows environments.

## Description

* Design, develop and maintain high-performance Modern C++ software for hardware control, data acquisition and instrument platform capabilities.
 * Collaborate with product architects on infrastructure requirements and system architecture for next-generation instrument platforms.
 * Integrate hardware and software components, ensuring reliable, high-performance operation of complex instrument systems.
 * Debug and troubleshoot across the full stack, from register-level interfaces and drivers to application-level software.
 * Collaborate with distributed engineering teams (including a US-based team) across the full development lifecycle.
