This is an exciting opportunity to lead the evolution of the University's enterprise data environment while helping deliver trusted, accessible data that supports student success, institutional planning, and strategic decision-making across Maine's public universities. If you enjoy building high-performing teams, modernizing enterprise data platforms, partnering with stakeholders, and solving complex organizational challenges, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do As Manager of Data Engineering & Analytics, you will lead a team of data engineers, business intelligence analysts, and data governance professionals responsible for delivering enterprise data services across the University of Maine System. You'll help shape the future of our enterprise data platform by improving reliability, scalability, and governance while supporting data-informed decision-making throughout the organization. You'll: * Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing technical team. * Guide the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise data engineering and analytics services. * Partner with academic and administrative leaders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable data solutions. * Oversee enterprise data pipelines, integration services, analytics platforms, and governance practices. * Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, and other IT leaders to advance enterprise technology initiatives. * Promote modern engineering practices, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates who live and are authorized to work in the United States.
