 * Investigates, diagnoses and resolves network access problems.
 * Maintains, tests and monitors firewall and intrusion detection systems.
 * Adds, changes or removes network hardware, software and end-user identities within the network registration system.
 * Configures, tests, installs and maintains network switches, routers and software.
 * Documents configuration, installation and maintenance activities.
 * Monitors network performance, adjusts configuration to maintain proper operation, and identifies trends in network performance issues.
