* Strong hands-on experience designing, building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
 * Experience working with Git-based development and delivery practices.
 * Proven experience operating production environments on a major cloud platform:Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated environment management.

 * Strong scripting or programming skills, including:Experience automating operational tasks and improving developer workflows.

 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

 * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

## Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale public sector digital programme. This role offers the opportunity to work on modern cloud-based platforms, driving automation, improving software delivery practices, and supporting the operation of critical production services.

You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, improving developer workflows, and ensuring highly available, secure cloud environments., * Design, build and operate CI/CD pipelines and delivery automation solutions.

 * Manage and support production services hosted in cloud environments, primarily AWS.
 * Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration-as-code solutions.
 * Develop automation scripts and tooling to improve operational efficiency and developer experience.
 * Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to enhance platform reliability, scalability and security.
 * Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using a structured, evidence-led approach.
 * Drive continuous improvement across deployment, monitoring and operational processes.
