Familiarity with dental and medical software and peripherals is a plus and will help you get up to speed quicker. We primarily work with software like Dentrix, Dexis, Softdent and Eaglesoft. We work with peripherals such as xray sensors, desk scanners, webcams, printers, etc. Tasks On Site: Issues that are unable to be resolved remotely will require an onsite visit. You should have reliable transportation and tools needed to visit the customer's site and resolve issues. Some tasks may include swapping hardware, desktop and laptop computer repair and upgrades, assembly, disassembly. You must have knowledge and experience on imaging, cloning, testing internal components and replacing peripherals. On the network side you should be comfortable testing and swapping equipment like cables and switches, and/or updating routers and configurations, and related tasks. --------------------------------------- Other Highly Recommended Skills: * Bilingual English / Spanish is strongly recommended. * Strong Customer Service skills are important. * Asking questions of callers to gain maximum information. * Taking time to research issues online and apply findings. * Be a self-starter and work unsupervised. * Excellent troubleshooting skills. * Very good communication abilities. * Excellent time management skills. * Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA, A+, N+) will be an advantage but not required. * You should have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. * You should have a laptop and computer tools. * If you have experience or knowledge in network or audio/video cabling is a plus. * The more skills you have or willingness to take on work, the more you will make. * You must be legally documented to work in the US. ## Description The businesses we support are located in South Florida between Kendall and Pompano Beach. Most of your work will be done remotely, but many will require onsite visits depending on circumstances. Approximately 60/40 remote/onsite but it can vary week to week.
