Our engineers bring serious depth in one area - typically backend development and platform/DevOps - but are genuinely capable across the full delivery lifecycle: frontend, test automation, pipelines, observability, and everything in between. Quality and customer experience are our highest priorities, which means you're not a specialist waiting for the right ticket - you're someone who follows the work wherever it needs to go, writes tests not just code, participates in functional testing, and owns customer escalations directly. We don't have a dedicated support escalation team; when a customer hits a wall, it lands with us. We take that seriously, and we'd want you to as well. We trust our engineers to take a feature from refinement all the way to production, and we back that up with the autonomy and support to make it happen. If you're hungry to keep growing, humble enough to know you don't have all the answers, and care deeply about the people you work with - let's talk. Responsibilities: * Taking full ownership of features - from refinement and design through development, testing, and delivery to production * Building and maintaining modern, scalable microservices in C# and .NET (8+) running on Azure Kubernetes Service * Contributing across the stack - backend services, Angular UI, test automation, CI/CD pipelines - wherever the work needs you * Writing clean, testable, well-documented code and holding the bar through code reviews * Creating and executing test cases, participating in functional testing, and managing test plans via Azure DevOps * Working in 2-week sprints with a globally distributed team - participating in refinement, demos, and retrospectives * Instrumenting services with OpenTelemetry and using Datadog to own the health of what you ship * Participating in on-call rotation as a primary responder for our services and the Kubernetes infrastructure that runs them - we own the full stack, not just the application layer * Owning customer escalations directly - investigating, communicating, and resolving issues without a handoff layer between you and the customer impact * Leveraging AI coding tools to accelerate development - we expect engineers to be fluent in AI-assisted workflows, not just aware of them * Collaborating closely with architects, product managers, and teammates across Panama, Hungary, and beyond, * Work on a platform used by enterprises globally to manage secure access and identity * Small-enough team that your contributions are visible; large-enough org that there's real career trajectory * Engineering culture that values ownership, continuous improvement, and shipping real things ## Related Videos - [How a Small Team Shrank a Microsoft Monorepo by 94%](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1236-how-a-small-team-shrank-a-microsoft-monorepo-by-94) - [Keeping applications secure by evolving OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100152-keeping-applications-secure-by-evolving-oauth-2-0-and-openid-connect) - [Leveraging Real time data in FSIs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/806-leveraging-real-time-data-in-fsis) - [Navigating the Corporate Jungle: Life as a Developer in a large Company](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/621-navigating-the-corporate-jungle-life-as-a-developer-in-a-large-company) - [Tomorrow's cloud data platforms - fully managed database-as-a-service (DBaaS)](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/254-tomorrow-s-cloud-data-platforms-fully-managed-database-as-a-service-dbaas) - [Delay the AI Overlords: How OAuth and OpenFGA Can Keep Your AI Agents from Going Rogue](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1637-delay-the-ai-overlords-how-oauth-and-openfga-can-keep-your-ai-agents-from-going-rogue) ## Related Articles - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [The 12 Best Jobs for Software Engineers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/401-the-12-best-jobs-for-software-engineers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Why Attend a Developer Event in 2026?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/688-why-attend-a-developer-event-in-2026)
