## About the Role

* Languages: English is a mandatory requirement for this role (working language).
 * Automation: Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Perl) and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
 * Platform Engineering: Experience with or a strong interest in modern environments utilizing Kubernetes (k8s), Terraform, and Helm.
 * Networking: Basic knowledge of networking and routing protocols (such as BGP).
 * Mindset: No fear of taking over responsibility for complex systems and troubleshooting issues autonomously.

Nice to have (A plus, but not mandatory)

 * Previous experience with traditional Unix systems (such as Solaris).
 * Knowledge of German.

## Description

* Ensure the high availability, performance, and security of our internal systems platforms and database solutions.
 * Guarantee the operational stability of key services (storage platforms, DNS, hosting, and email services).
 * Drive internal process and reporting automation, exploring the use of AI Engineering to reduce manual tasks.
 * Participate in the team's on-call rotation (24/7) to ensure service continuity.
